Short answer: I'm a freelance copywriter, and I work in Philadelphia. But there's more to it than that.
Some people ask why I chose copywriting and not journalism, poetry, or say, professional yodeling. It's mostly because I love the magic of business. As a copywriter, I get to help many different types of businesses to become more competitive. In any given week, I can work with an insurance company, a software developer, and a tree-lined university.
If variety is the spice of life, copywriting is Vindaloo. But my mind is too restless for even that. When I'm not turning phrases, I'm taking photos, playing my mandolin, or resurrecting ancient printmaking techniques at my letterpress studio.
Whether it's art or business, everything I do has the same motivation. I like to make things better by making them more interesting, more beautiful, more funny, or more fulfilling. Come to think of it, I bet I can make your business more of something else, too. Money!
